Responsibility for postage management and USPS relations is transferred to the sorting area - which may include a presort vendor - allowing inserting operations to focus on the quality and integrity of the individual mail piece. A future release will provide the additional ability to print permits directly onto envelopes as they are processed. This feature enables mailers to dynamically print features such as the indicia date using "official" looking indicia marks that are approved by the USPS Domestic Mail Manual and to print personalized messaging directly on the envelope.
