The Database Package
The standard for controlling and managing production processes has become file-based or database driven. However these are often cost and process prohibitive when:
- A full-blown centralized ADF is the only option or
- Available technology only works with some of your equipment, and
- There are not alternatives for older systems or systems manufactured by certain vendors
These are just some of the reasons why we created the Database Package and the capabilities that allow all of the advanced functions often only found in the newer, costlier systems. The Database Package allows unique information to be read from an item and uses that information to automatically retrieve machine instructions from a database for each item in real time.
Data Indexing Module - Track items, even when they do not follow the order of records in a control file
Items do not have to be processed in the same order they appear in a control data file to be tracked by JETVision. JETVision is able to validate items and recognize duplicates in real time without having to perform any additional preprocessing of the tracking file. Best of all, machines keep running when pieces are out of order, and job reconciliation can happen after a run.
Using multiple readers, JETVision can verify that every document that enters a system successfully exits the system. And with real-time exception processing, which includes late diverts and edge marking, stopping a system or providing instruction to the operator is also supported.
Data Sequencing Module - Track items in the same order as records in a control file
This operation is selected when there is a control file for tracking items processed, and the control file matches the sequential order of items processed. This operation supports real-time sequential lookups and will force immediate accountability when an item is out of order or missing.
- Supports all symbologies except Image Pattern
- Supports sequential indexing
- Supports automated report generation
