Compensation

BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's compensation philosophy is structured to encourage high levels of associate performance. To that end, we have adopted a performance-based pay program. BÖWE BELL + HOWELL believes that partnering with its associates to drive performance results in enhanced service to our customers, increased profits for our stakeholders, and thus more pay for our associates. Making the connection between business strategy and vision, associates' performance and growth, and rewards and recognition provides a framework of success for the entire company.

Incentive Programs

BÖWE BELL + HOWELL uses variable pay to augment rewards for additional performance beyond the normal Performance and Management Feedback process. The primary objective of our bonus plans is to connect an associate's individual achievements to departmental operating plans and company-wide strategic objectives.

Benefits

The benefit plans listed below describe the offerings available to our associates.

Medical

We offer several medical plan options, including both consumer-driven and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans.

Dental

We offer a Passive PPO Dental Plan that offers coverage through network and non-network dentists.

Vision

The company's vision plan provides general vision benefits including examinations, lenses, contacts and frames. The Plan is a stand-alone benefit with no ties to medical coverage.

Retirement Savings Plan

The BÖWE BELL + HOWELL Retirement Savings Plan offers you a tax-favored opportunity to save for your retirement. You can contribute a percentage of your annual pay to the plan on a before-tax or after-tax basis, and BÖWE BELL + HOWELL will match a portion of your contribution.

Life Insurance

As a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL associate, you automatically receive Base Life Insurance (group term life insurance) coverage equal to one times your annual base earnings, paid in full by the company. You also have the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance coverage for yourself up to a maximum of four times your annual base earnings, and dependent life insurance at $5,000, $15,000 or $25,000 in coverage.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment

As a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL associate, you have the opportunity to purchase Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage for yourself, your spouse and your eligible dependents.

Disability Plans

BÖWE BELL + HOWELL offers short-term and long-term disability plans that provide you with a portion of your regular income should an illness or injury leave you totally disabled and unable to work.

Flexible Spending Accounts

BÖWE BELL + HOWELL offers you the opportunity set aside pre-tax contributions into two types of Flexible Spending Accounts-Health Care and Dependent Day Care.

Business Travel Accident Insurance

Under the BÖWE BELL + HOWELL Business Travel Accident (BTA) coverage, associates are covered if they should be involved in an accident that occurs while traveling on company business.
